Hi, I am Sofia

I have five boys. They all play soccer. Their dad coaches two of the teams and then plays in his own adult league on Sunday, because apparently one family cannot have too much soccer.

What that means in practice is that there is a soccer ball in every room of this house, a permanent pile of shin guards by the back door, and a car that has been a locker room on wheels since roughly 2019. Between practices, games and tournament weekends, I am not sure we have had a completely free Saturday in years.

Why this site exists

Somewhere in the middle of all that, I got good at one very specific thing: figuring out which purchases actually make a soccer family's life easier, and which ones just take up trunk space until you quietly donate them.

I started pinning the good ones, mostly for my own memory, and then other moms started asking. This site is where I keep the answers, so I am not retyping them in a group chat at eleven at night.

How I pick things

• We have used it. At the field, in the car, or in the laundry room. Not read about it — used it.
• It survived us. Five boys are a stress test. Things that break in one season do not make it here.
• It solves a real problem. If I cannot tell you the exact Saturday it saved, it is not on the list.
• I say what is wrong with it too. Everything has a catch. The catch is usually the most useful part of the review.
