Privacy Policy

Soccer Mom Finds is a small site run by one person. There are no accounts, no logins and no shopping cart, and I do not want your personal information.

What I collect directly

Nothing. There is no sign-up form, no comment section, no newsletter and no email address on this site. I have no database of readers and no mailing list. If you message me on Pinterest, Pinterest holds that conversation under their own privacy policy — I do not copy it anywhere else.

What your browser stores

The printable checklists remember which boxes you have ticked, using your browser's local storage. That information stays on your device. It is never sent anywhere, I cannot see it, and clearing your browser data erases it.

Third parties involved

Amazon

When you click a product link, you go to Amazon, and Amazon places a cookie that tells them the visit came from this site. That is how affiliate commissions are tracked. Once you are on Amazon, Amazon's own privacy notice applies, not this one. I never see who you are or what you bought — only an anonymous, aggregated count of orders.

The home page and the About page embed Pinterest's profile widget, and the "Save" buttons link to Pinterest. Loading that widget means Pinterest can see your IP address and set its own cookies, exactly as it would on any page with a Pinterest embed. Pinterest's privacy policy governs that.

Hosting

This site is hosted on a static hosting service, which keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, which page was requested, and when. Those logs exist for security and for keeping the site online, and they are deleted on the host's normal schedule.

Analytics

There is currently no analytics tool on this site. If that changes, this page will be updated before the tool is switched on.

Children

This site is written for parents. It is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since there is no form to fill in anywhere, there is nothing for a child to submit.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data a site holds about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. In my case the answer is almost always "none", because this site collects nothing — but if you want to ask, message me onPinterest and I will respond.

To limit what Amazon or Pinterest collect, use your browser's cookie controls or their own privacy settings. Most browsers also honour a "Do Not Track" signal; since this site sets no tracking of its own, there is nothing here for it to switch off.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be obvious rather than quiet.
