What that means in plain English

Most of the product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, Amazon pays me a small commission. You pay exactly the same price— the commission comes out of Amazon's side, not yours.

That commission is what pays for this site. It is the only way I make anything here.

What it does not mean

Nobody pays me to be on this list. Brands cannot buy a spot here. Every product is one I chose.
I do not accept free products in exchange for a recommendation. If that ever changes, it will be written on the product itself, clearly.
A higher commission does not move anything up the page. I do not sort by what pays best.
I tell you the downsides. Almost every product page here has a "worth knowing" note, and it is usually the reason not to buy it.

Why there are no prices or star ratings here

You will notice this site never shows a price or a review score. That is deliberate. Amazon prices change constantly, and their terms only allow a site to display prices and ratings that are pulled live from their own system. Rather than show you something that might be out of date by the time you read it, every button says"Check price on Amazon" and sends you to the current, correct one.

About the images

Every photo on this site is mine, taken in my own house, car or driveway — or a placeholder where I have not photographed something yet. I do not use Amazon's product images. Amazon's name and logo belong to Amazon, and nothing here should be read as Amazon endorsing, sponsoring or reviewing this site.
